When a campaign fails, the orders for the beneficiary are cancelled and fully refunded to the buyers. Animal Webaction does not keep any funds received for failed campaigns.
This refund is automatic and does not require any action on the part of the buyer. It can come in two different forms:
- The transfer of a refund to the bank account associated with the buyer's payment method. Depending on each bank's own deadlines, it may take up to seven days for the refund to be credited to the buyer's bank account.
- The cancellation of the initial payment authorisation. The transaction is considered as if it never took place, the money remains in the buyer's bank account (there is no debit, and therefore no refund). Depending on each bank's processing time, it can take up to seven days for the debit to disappear from the buyer's account upcoming payments.
