We are in favour of all initiatives that allow recovery: they limit the impact on the environment and promote solidarity. Unfortunately, we have had to give them up. This pragmatic decision was taken for the following two reasons:
- Reuse is too expensive: even if the product is offered to us, we have to bear many costs, such as transport, conformity check, repackaging, re-shipment, storage... It may seem surprising, but once all these costs are included, the cost of the second-hand product is often higher than that of a new product...
- Compliance is difficult to guarantee: we take responsibility for the products we distribute to our partners. However, the recovery products collected are generally very diversified, which makes it difficult and complex to check compliance with our commitments.
Thus, we cannot recover products from private individuals to distribute them to animals.
If you have products in your possession and wish to offer them to animals in need, we invite you to offer them to shelters near you, or to send them directly to the association of your choice.
