Alexandre, our founder, ran an environmental protection association for several years. At the end of this experience he decided to found a social entrepreneurship company for the four reasons below:
- To build on the long term. Contrary to the associative structures our members are not renewed every year, this organizational stability allows us to build our project on the long term.
- To act quickly. Contrary to the associative structures we do not need to gather an official commitee, we can intervene quickly when the situation requires it.
- To guarantee our results. Unlike an association we do not collect donations, we sell products, so we have a legal obligation to deliver them. We make sales, so everyone knows exactly what they are buying.
- To comply with the law. We supply products, so our business can compete with e-commerce sites. If we had the status of an association, this competition could be considered unfair.
